Limitless Freedom! Take in the sights and sounds of the vast Capital Wasteland! See the great monuments of the United States lying in post-apocalyptic ruin! You make the choices that define you and change the world. From Vault-Tec, America's First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation. Every minute is a fight for survival against the terrors of the outside world - radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. Included is an expansive world, unique combat, shockingly realistic visuals, tons of player choice, and an incredible cast of dynamic characters. Hands down one of the best games ever made.Vault-Tec engineers have worked around the clock on an interactive reproduction of Wasteland life for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own vault. There's nothing quite like walking across the Wastelands with golden oldie music streaming from the radio, only to see a gas station nearby but not knowing if it's worth the risk. The ideas in this game are great too as is the music. It does have bugs and freezes sometimes, but don't believe the hype about it being unplayable. Fallout 3 is subtle in that way some of the most memorable moments and most fun you will have are things you will stumble across in your own way, not because someone sent you there and it's all set up for you to experience. You also don't feel like you're having your face shoved into the content either unlike Skyrim I felt. The Karma aspect of the game adds a lot to the game too I feel. The DLC are excellent too and add many more hours into a game which I've already spent over 100+ on. In that sense it felt like a cross between the original Deus Ex and an Elder Scrolls game to me when playing. You feel like you are in a living world, where your actions actually change things. The atmosphere in this game is second to none. Every story from the main mission to the side missions to just little things you come across are all written with care, skill and imagination. It's true freedom and wealth of (original) content make this a time sponge.
